Personal Injury Lawsuit Filed Against University

A former college student has filed a personal injury lawsuit against her university, the state board of education, and several Greek organizations in relationship to an accident which the young woman was involved in during her sophomore year of college. The then 19-year-old woman was at a fraternity party on campus when she fell from a third story window in the early hours of the morning.

According to the lawsuit filed by the young woman and her parents, the woman is seeking compensation for her medical expenses, travel expenses and other expenses related to her injuries. The woman is charging that the university and the Greek organizations involved did not do enough to ensure safe conditions at the fraternity or to prevent underage students like herself from consuming alcohol.

The long list of defendants in the lawsuit include the university, the state board of education, the parent company of the young woman's sorority, several companies associated with the fraternity at which the woman was injured, and a number of young men associated with the fraternity.

People who are waiting to receive money from their personal injury settlements may want to consider pre-settlement funding so they no longer have to wait on pay outs.  To learn more about such funding, contact Advance My Lawsuit now.
